Every year the big kids festival at the airport is a successful event for young and old. Well established event components like a show stage and various activities of the airport's fire brigade, customs, the police and others make this a fun day.
In the Olympic year 2012 the motto "Get the gold medal" provides athletic fun for the kids. About 25,000 visitors were happy about the numerous attractions. For thousands of families the "Big Kids Festival" is an integral part of the summer holidays.
